Hello People,
I've just returned from holiday in New Zealand, Australia & Dubai.
Picked up loads of great new music on my travels - The record shops in Melbourne are particularly good.
While in Melbourne we went to see Sharon Jones and the Dapkings @ The Prince in St Kilda. This was an amazing gig with local jazz/funk band The Bamboos in support.
The Bamboos have been receiving DJ support from the likes of Mr Scruff, Kenny Dope (Masters At Work), Gilles Peterson and Keb Darge and for you UK based people they are playing London's Jazz Cafe on 18th June. I strongly recomend going along to this gig if you can make it!!
